THE SIMPLE SENTENCE الجمــلة البسيـطة

IT CONSISTS OF ONE SUBJECT AND ONE PRINCIPAL VERB . IT DOES NOT CONTAIN A JOINING WORD OR A CONJUNCTION . IT HAS A COMPLETE MEANING .

تحتوى على فاعل واحد و فعل رئيسي واحد و لا تحتوى أي رابط أو كلمة ربط و هي جملة ذات معنى متكامل .

  • يَجرىْ النيلُ مِنْ وسط أفريقيا إلى مصر
  • OUR SOLDIERS WERE ABLE TO CROSS THE SUEZ CANAL DESPITE THE BAR-LEV BARRIER
  • جنودنا كَانوا قادرين على عُبُور قناة السويس بالرغم مِنْ مانع بارليف

JOINING TWO SIMPLE SENTENCES TO FORM ONE SIMPLE SENTENCE

ربط جملتين بسيطتين لتكوين جملة بسيطة واحدة

باستعمال صفة أو عبارة وصفية :

  • THE BOY IS CLEVER . HE ANSWERS WELL
  • THE CLEVER BOY ANSWERS WELL
  • THE SOLDIERS ARE ON THE FRONT LINES . THEY PROTECT THE OTHER TROOPS
  • THE SOLDIERS ON THE FRONT LINES PROTECT THE OTHER TROOPS

باستعمال تعبير من أسم الفاعل :

  • HE HAD FINISHED HIS COMPOSITION . HE REVISED IT
  • HAVING FINISHED HIS COMPOSITION , HE REVISED IT
  • THE DAY WAS HOT . I COULD NOT GO OUT .
  • THE DAY BEING HOT , I COULD NOT GO OUT

باستعمال حرف جـــــــــــــــــر :

  • THIS BOY SUCCEEDS . HE WORKS HARD
  • THIS BOY SUCCEEDS BY WORKING HARD
  • HE WROTE HIS COMPOSITION . NO ONE HELPED HIM .
  • HE WROTE HIS COMPOSITION WITHOUT HELP FROM ANYONE
